I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with today’s premiere of the Tamil romance series #Love (which I previewed for What’s on Netflix). Also new today are a trio of older Ajay Devgn films: Golmaal 3, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and Omkara, which is excellent. Earlier this week, the Hindi movie Ohh My Dog and the Telugu film Romãnchakam. The new series Sunday Brunch with Kamiya Jani debuts on Saturday.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Zee5 with the premiere of the Hindi film Pooja Meri Jaan.

Finally, I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with today’s addition of the Telugu film Mahendragiri Vaaraahi. Earlier this week, Prime added Season 2 of the Hindi series Dupahiya and the Tamil movie Sardar 2.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with today’s premiere of the Original Hindi drama film Babita Singh Reporting. Prime also added the Telugu movie KJQ: King Jackie Queen and the Hindi-dubbed version of the Telugu film Nagabandham.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with today’s streaming debuts of the YRF Spy Universe flick Alpha and the Telugu film Newton’s 3rd Law. Yesterday, Netflix premiered the Original military documentary The Last Salute.

Director Anurag Kashyap’s film Bandar debuted on Zee5 today.

Finally, I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Hulu with the premiere of the new Telugu series Part-Timers (also available in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, & Tamil).

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with today’s streaming debuts of Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga and the Tamil film Idhayam Murali. The new Original series Operation Safed Sagar premieres on Friday. I previewed the new show for What’s on Netflix several months ago. I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with today’s additions of Manoj Bajpayee’s Governor, the Telugu film Oh Sukumari, and Season 2 of the Tamil series Vandandhi.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with the streaming debuts of Mohanlal’s Malayalam thriller Drishyam 3 and the Telugu mystery Mareechika.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Hulu with the premiere of Season 2 of the Hindi series Thukra Ka Mera Pyaar (also available in Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu).

Finally, I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with the somewhat random addition of Kalank (which looks great but has a weak story). Dhurandhar: The Revenge finally became available on Netflix in India today, which means nothing new for the rest of us internationally.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with the premiere of the Netflix Original film Maa Behen, starring Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri. I really liked Maa Behen (and I previewed it for What’s on Netflix). Netflix also added the Tamil film 29. Make sure you didn’t miss any of the Indian movies and series added to Netflix in May with my monthly What’s on Netflix roundup.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with two new business-themed Hindi series: The Pyramid Scheme and Made in India: A Titan Story, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh. The streamer also added the Hindi version of the 2026 film Dacoit (the Telugu version was already available).

Karisma Kapoor’s new thriller series Brown debuted on Zee5.

Finally, I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Hulu with some non-exclusive series.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Hulu with two new series this week: the Malayalam series Cousins & Kalyanams (also in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu) and the Tamil series Brothers and Sisters (also in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu). Note that these new shows are not dubbed into Bengali or Marathi, as Hulu/JioHotstar Originals traditionally have been. I’m guessing this is the plan going forward, but I haven’t read anything official about it.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with several additions in the last two weeks: the Netflix Original reality series Desi Bling and the movies Kesari (Hindi), Kara (Tamil), and Bharathanatyam (Malayalam).

For a piece at What’s on Netflix, I looked through every Netflix India Original movie and series to find out which actors have appeared in the most Netflix India Originals. It was a lot of fun to see which actors made the list and which didn’t (honestly surprised that Manoj Bajpayee wasn’t in the Top 10). Do check out the article “Which Star Has the Most Appearances in Netflix India Originals? The Top 10 Actors Ranked.” I really enjoyed putting it together.

Finally, I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with the premiere of Sonakshi Sinha’s Original film System and the Telugu movie Gaayapadda Simham.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with the premiere of the Original Hindi series Lukkhe and the addition of the Telugu film Dacoit. The Hindi version of Dacoit — which was filmed simultaneously — is not on Prime and doesn’t have a streaming home at present. Season 2 of Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s English-language action series Citadel debuted earlier this week. Plus, Amazon renewed its recently released series Matka King for a second season.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with today’s streaming debut of the Malayalam film Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam.

We’ve got a few notable Hindi releases coming to streaming in the next couple of weeks. Dhurandhar: The Revenge should debut on JioHotstar in India on or around May 14, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll get it on Hulu (JioHotstar’s US equivalent). I suspect we will, but it’s not guaranteed. [Update: Dhurandhar: The Revenge comes to Netflix internationally on May 15.] Saif Ali Khan’s Netflix Original crime movie Kartavya premieres on May 15, followed by Sonakshi Sinha’s Amazon Original courtroom drama film System in the afternoon of May 21. I’m intrigued by all of them.

The great account CinemaRare on X posted that the previously unreleased 2000 film The Last Tenant starring Irrfan and Vidya Balan is now available on YouTube. Per CinemaRare, “The film remained unreleased for 25 years after the original footage was lost. Director Sarthak Dasgupta recovered a surviving VHS copy, allowing for its restoration and release.” You can watch The Last Tenant here. It doesn’t have subtitles, unfortunately.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with the streaming debut of Sunny Deol’s war drama Border 2.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with the addition of the Telugu film Vishnu Vinyasam. Yesterday, Amazon revealed it’s 2026 slate of Indian Original movies and series. I included all the of titles that were announced with “first look” videos in the “Coming Soon” section on my Amazon Prime page, but Variety India has details on all of the newly announced titles and returning series.

As of right now, only episodes 3 & 6 of the new Hindi series Chiraiya are available on Hulu. I’ll update my list of Bollywood movies on Hulu with links to every language version when they finish uploading all of the episodes.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with a few new additions today: the 2026 theatrical releases Funky (Telugu) and Pennum Porattum (Malayalam), plus the Netflix Original Tamil film Made in Korea. Note that Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees (which I thought was fine) expires from Netflix on March 15.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with the new Tamil series Local Times, Season 3 of the Hindi series Aspirants, and the 2026 Telugu film Couple Friendly (also available dubbed in Tamil).

Finally, I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Hulu with the new Tamil series Resort (also available in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu).

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with the premiere of Anil Kapoor’s new Original thriller film Subedaar. Also new on Prime this week are Anupam Kher’s directorial Tanvi the Great and Annagaru Vostaru, the Telugu-dubbed version of the Tamil film Vaa Vaathiyaar.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with the streaming debut of the 2026 Tamil film With Love. Over the weekend, the Hindi movies Raazi (which I loved) and Gippi were added to Netflix. I don’t think Gippi has ever been available for streaming the US before.

The Netflix Original series Hello Bachhon premieres on Friday. Netflix also announced an April 3 premiere date for Maamla Legal Hai Season 2.

I did not update my list of Bollywood movies on Hulu because there’s no sign of the new Hotstar Specials Telugu series Vikram on Duty yet. These delays seem to be the norm right now. I had an interesting exchange with @disneyplusnews about the future of Indian content on Hulu, and the days may be numbered. There’s a chance we could get a separate JioHotstar app in the US instead at some point, but I could see their parent company Disney passing on that in order to save money on streaming rights. I don’t have any inside information, it just seems like something is afoot since Hotstar titles are taking even longer to shop up on Hulu. We’ll see.
