I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with three new additions to the catalog. After a few months’ absence, Ek Tha Tiger and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl are once more available for streaming. Also, just two months after its theatrical release in the U.S., Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain is now on Netflix. The English-language drama featuring Hollywood stars like Martin Sheen and Kal Penn alongside Bollywood vets like Rajpal Yadav and Tannishtha Chatterjee depicts the true, tragic events of a 1984 industrial disaster. It’s worth watching.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix because two older films directed by Yash Chopra were just added to the catalog. 1989’s Chandni and 1993’s Darr are now available for streaming.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with one change. The 2012 thriller Tezz departs the streaming service on February 6, 2015. There’s no need to prioritize watching this messy flick, about which I wrote: “The more of the plot that is revealed, the less necessary the film seems, especially when the events all stem from the inappropriate and dangerous response of a single man to an easily surmountable problem.”

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix to include one new addition to the catalog and one expiration date. The 2014 comedy Bewakoofiyaan is now available for streaming. The movie tanked at the theater, but it’s one of my favorite films of the year.

You’ve got until December 1 to watch Dangerous Ishhq, but you can probably find better ways to use your time.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix to include one new addition and one expiring film. 2013’s Inkaar was just added to the streaming service. It could be worth watching just for its ridiculously attractive stars: Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh.

The 2011 release Double Dhamaal departs Netflix on November 7, 2014.

New Netflix Streaming Page

I just added a new page to Access Bollywood with a list of Hindi movies streaming on Netflix in the United States. The link to the page is always accessible at the top of the right sidebar under “Other Pages at This Site”.

I’ll update the list regularly with movies newly added to Netflix as well as movies soon to expire from the service. For example, Refugee (2000) and Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl (2011) are both expiring this week. Enjoy!
