Streaming Video News: June 8, 2015

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix because a major catalog purge is underway. In addition to the previously announced departure of Himmatwala from the streaming service on Friday, June 12, twenty-three titles (eek!) were put on the chopping block today. All of the movies listed below expire from Netflix on Monday, June 15:

There’s a chance that some of these movies may rejoin the catalog in the future, but if something on the list catches your eye, you’d better watch it while you can.

Thank you so much providing this list. I’ve seen many of them twice. (Although I would have liked to see Johnny Gaddar a third time) I hope this trend doesn’t continue. I remember when they purged Yash Raj’s films in January 2014.

You’re welcome, Linda! Given how many of the films were older and on DVD, I’m guessing the bulk of the films were just part of a studio package that expired all at once. I’m pretty confident that it’s not part of a larger trend (at least I hope not!).
