The first trailer for Dedh Ishqiya is out. The dialogue-heavy trailer doesn’t have subtitles, so non-Hindi speakers will miss out on much of the fun, but the film retains the look of its predecessor, Ishqiya. Given how much I liked the original and how much I like this cast, I’m really looking forward to Dedh Ishqiya‘s release on January 10, 2014.
(Proposal for a trilogy: Dead Ishqiya. Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi as zombie grifters.)
This look promising. The director seems work on screeplay of Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mando La along with Vishal Bhardwaj, film I like much…now I need to watch the first Ishqiya
Chaubey and Bhardwaj are good partners, Abdul. I hope you enjoy Ishqiya. 🙂
Another proposal for a trilogy: Dad Ishqiya. Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi try to fight their way out of paying for child support.
I love it, Andy! 🙂
What is being talked about in the trailer is the 7 stages of love. Since you’ve reviewed “Dil Se”, which dealt with the same subject, you might be interested to know that this movie won’t be as subtle.
I will also not expect a dance number set atop a moving train.
By all means see Ishqiya – it was a great film.
It is too bad that Vidya isn’t in this coming Death Ishqiya. Then again, Vidya has a sequel to Kahaani coming out.
