I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with director Anurag Kashyap’s new film Choked, which makes its worldwide debut today. Other new additions this week include the Hindi film Chippa and Spelling the Dream, a documentary about Indian-American kids who compete in the National Spelling Bee.

Two Indian movies will join Netflix on June 6: the 2020 Malayalam thriller Forensic and the 2018 Hindi drama Project Papa.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with dozens of Indian films added in the last week, including the 2020 releases Asur (Bengali) and Dhamaka (Malayalam).

I found a bunch of Tamil films from the early 2010s that are set to expire in the next week. You can check out those titles in the Expiring Soon section near the top of my Amazon Prime page.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with loads of newly added Indian content. In addition to the Hindi film Paharganj, the 2020 Tamil releases Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal and Sethum Aayiram Pon are now available for streaming. A bunch of animated kids movies and series in Hindi were also added: Akbar Birbal, Bal Ganesh, Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan, Mighty Raju Rio Calling, and Punyakoti (Sanskrit). But the big news is the new batch of movies from the Dharma Productions catalog that are now available for streaming:

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with dozens of Indian titles added in the last week, including the Amazon Original black comedy series Afsos, starring Gulshan Devaiah. It launched in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Also new is Rani Mukerji’s cop thriller Mardaani 2, available in both standard and 4K UHD. Other recently added 2019 releases include:

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with the addition of the 2019 Tamil film Jada. The Malayalam movie Thottappan debuts on February 8, followed by the Netflix Original romance series Taj Mahal 1989 on February 14.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with a pair of returnees to start the month. Hum Aapka Hain Koun..! and Hum Saath-Saath Hain are available for streaming once more, although for some reason Netflix is calling Hum Saath-Saath HainTogether for Eternity” now. The 2019 Tamil film Thambi arrives on the service on February 3.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with a bunch of new additions in the last week, including the 2019 remake Pati Patni Aur Woh, which looks gross. The 1978 original is also available on Prime, and maybe it’s better. Or you could just watch the newly added thriller Shanghai, which is awesome.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with the addition of Sidharth Malhotra’s 2019 thriller Marjaavaan. Other newly added 2019 releases include Ghawre Bairey Aaj (Bengali), Hirkani (Marathi), and Verdict (Hindi).

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with the series debut of the Netflix Original Hindi crime drama Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega. Oh, and Half Girlfriend is available for streaming again, for those of you longing for its return.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with dozens of Indian films and shows added in the last several days, including a new season of Inside Edge, available in Hindi with English subtitles (standard and 4K UHD) and English-dubbed (standard and 4K UHD). Recently added 2019 movies include Ardab Mutiyaran (Punjabi), Bharaate (Kannada), and the Bengali titles Dash Mash Dash Diner Galpo and Unish Bish.

I also found thirty Hindi films that will expire from Amazon Prime within the next two weeks. I’ve organized them by expiration date:

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with dozens of Indian titles added in the last week, including today’s blockbuster addition of the Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff action extravaganza War, one of my favorite movies of the year. War is now available for streaming in Hindi (standard and 4K UHD) and Telugu (standard and 4K UHD). The Hindi version of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is available as well, also in standard and 4K UHD. It looks like the Excel Entertainment back catalog really is leaving Prime for good on Thursday, November 28. I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with the addition of two 2019 releases: the Rajeev Khandelwal-starrer Pranaam and the Telugu film Evvarikee Cheppoddu. Twenty Marathi titles are set to expire from Netflix on December 1, as are Shah Rukh Khan’s Deewana and the excellent drama Masaan. (Half Girlfriend is leaving as well, but you don’t want to watch it.) The expiring titles will be replaced on December 1 by seven Punjabi titles, which you can find listed in the “Coming Soon” section near the top of my Netflix page.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix because the following titles are set to expire on November 15: Fireflies in the Abyss, M Cream, O21, and Shukranallah. Season 3 of the Hindi series Little Things will be available starting November 9.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with dozens of Indian and Pakistani films added in the last week or so. The September theatrical release Pailwaan is available in its original Kannada, along with Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu versions. The Malayalam movie Ittymaani: Made in China is also now available, in both standard and 4K, as is the 4K Kannada version of Saaho. Other recently added 2019 releases include:

The Vishesh Films and Dharma Productions back catalogs have departed Prime, but some titles — including Kapoor & Sons — are still available for rent. Others like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… moved to Eros Now.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with the addition of the interview special My Next Guest with David Letterman and Shah Rukh Khan. A handful of titles are set to expire in the first few days of November, including the Hindi films Mirror Game: Ab Khel Shuru and Sameer.

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with four 2019 titles added in the last week, including the new Netflix original series Bard of Blood, starring Emraan Hashmi. Also new are the Hindi film Malaal, the Telugu sequel Manmadhudu 2, and the Malayalam and Tamil versions of Oh! Baby (the Telugu version was added last week).

Sixteen Indian movies are set to expire from Netflix on October 1 — mostly Malayalam titles, but the service’s lone Manipuri film, Loktak Lairembee, is on its way out as well. The full list of expiring titles is available here.

I also updated my list of Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime with more than forty Indian titles added since my last streaming video update. One of those new films is Sonakshi Sinha’s August comedy Khadaani Shafakhana, which contains homophobic slurs. Other recently added 2019 releases include:
