Streaming Video News: July 6, 2016

I updated my list of Bollywood movies on Netflix with an exciting new addition to the catalog. The raunchy yet sophisticated Brahman Naman is now available for streaming. The mostly English-language comedy was a hit earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, where Netflix purchased the rights to air it. I really can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s hilarious.

Other recent additions to Netflix include the Hindi TV series Adrishya, as well as the movies Chauranga, A Decent Arrangement, I.D., X: Past Is Present, and Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 (which is not worth watching).

Thanks so much, Rahul! I finally got to see Udta Punjab last night, and I hope to have the review up in the next several days — early next week, at the latest.

Hi. Your website does give good information on netflix which is otherwise difficult for me to search. I am interested in watching EPIC channel series and when I click on them, I am not able to play them. Are they only available in India, I live in Portugal. Please help.
    Thanks

Thanks, Nijka! Netflix makes their deals on a country-by-country basis, and the EPIC channel content must not be available in Portugal right now. Netflix also recently made it harder to work around the system to view stuff that’s available on Netflix in other countries but not in one’s home country. I’m afraid I don’t have an solution for you, Nijka. šŸ™
